well its been and gone with halloween. and it was good, where to start.

work, always work i guess. I found out that my mananger was dressing up as rick grimes or what ever his name is from the WALKING dead. So of course i tried to organise zombies. Only three of us did it, so i t wasnt the xombie march in best buy i had hoped for but still, i was worth it.

Pumpkins.
I carved a pumpkin, woot, first one ever. so what i did was ponder and carved out a pony for a friend called brian. [ he really likes my little ponys]

and speaking of wich of course, Im working on equstrian gaurd, my little pony imperial gaurd storm troopers. taking my time as of course he wants the leader to be using magic to hold a power sword, and thats gonna need water effects and sparkles :D
the pony im working on is called gunna, a surprisingly angry looking firery pony. Armed with a melta gun so far. total work in progress of course.

well back from my mobile summit. I went away, trabeled out on my day off, did some learning. Grabbed some swag and im back. All in all it was good. I went out to a night club and got to draw a giant zombie bunny on the wall of the club using lasers and computer systems. Very cool.

so far so good, getting closer to christmas, A great time, a wonderful time, but also a REALLY busy time for electronic retailers like,... gosh like me.

not complaining, jsut means another year closer to master plan of returning, Numbers are up in my store, now i need them to be stable before i can ask for a transfer.

glad to see robs site is back up and running, not sure why people would try and hack his site,, bastards but fahh to the buggers.

well an update, god dam i got bad at this, but ahh well. could be worse some how, aside from the fact that im leaving spelling and grammer, heck even punctuation out of it this time

in other news robs blog got me thinking about 40k again and im just not feeling the love with nurgle. So i went back to my roots. back to orks.

He is a star struck ork who dreams of following in gazgull thrakas footsteps. He started out as a lowly mek and one day said hi to his idle. The biggest orkyest ork of all. SAdly though gazgull was in a bad mood and beat the mek with his own arm... so one cut scene later he is a cybork bigmeck in mega armor... not the best unit to feild but im to happy with it.....

this fine model was actualy an accident I sat down at far to early oclock one day and started modeling a looted wagon. The next thing i know i have saws out and glue and this turns up on my desk. Obviously gear gutz was working through me... him or gork i think

walks an guns

well i started getting some excersice, me and a couple of people started walking yesterday. did about two hours and it was good. Not only did i get the joy of breaking in new boots, but walking. The plan is to turn the walks into jogs, and then maybe even runs. Who knows o.o

Off to jamaica in a few days, leave saturday for it so yay to that. Ill have photos and vids i imagen.

played with the new camera so ohhh shiny. Made some silly artish stuff and some nice photos.

Today not to much to talk about, rough reveiws

Crysis 2. A very very pretty game, completed it and i enjoyed it a lot to be honest. The game play is balanced and you can do it any way you want, being sneaky, a tank, a gun toating maniac. Did i mention it was so pretty to look at....

homefront The mulit player is good so far, game looks nice, and is balanced. But the single player was disapointment. It was short, REALLY short and you spent the game following people around. You didnt lead, no heroics for you, instead always following the NPC, to the point you cant even walk through some doors until they finish talking and then saunter through slowly >< RAHHHHHHH

As the subject says yes im awe full at these. Id like to say things like work was Amazingly busy during December with it being Christmas. January being tough as it was all about recovering and such, February about getting back into procedures. But thats work. and this is a silly blog. I keep coming back to it. Not sure why, I do want to write more its just i dunno. Sometimes i think my wiffles are silly. other times im sure its just idle chatter. But fahh

So here we go, a list of neat things and updates
1. im off to Jamaica on april 9th, all expenses paid by my company as we really were busy in Christmas. In fact we were so busy we were the best store in all of canada
2. my war-machine guys are almost done. Despite the fact that i dont actually seem to play them. The models are a wonder to build and so different from 40k
3. Im taking up air soft over here for now. picked up a SCAR-l cqc model. ive talked a bunch of people into joining me and training up for a massive event called border wars over here....

A 24 hour time in game set in a Department of national Defense training grounds. That means that its in a town, with a large hospital as the feild of battle.

so thats gonna be pretty cool

Woo diary, its a fine day.
in fact its three days off for me, means time to relax, time to enjoy. Say hello to friends in canada and the like. Since moving to canada in order to hide from England for a little bit. So far i have made quite a few people im willing to call friends. Antonio and Christophe that i work with. Several of the geeks, Neil, Cameron, Brian and such. WE play eve together. We fight with sticks and the like. So its all good. the good times are my store is doing rather well so far for the month of December. With luck and the drive we have shown we will Win it. I have high hopes, All the managers are new to the position. Yet we are first so far, with the cry of bwahaha.

And yes i realize im writing like im talking to a book but ah well. We just have to see how this story pans out. I doubt this journal will be found in long times from now and studied, I was tempted to fill it with arcane scribblings and mystical lore.

Im starting to feel sorry now for Hiati. Earthquakes, drought, flood sand now cholera. Its pretty bad over there from what i can tell. The infection has spread out to the Dominican republic, Ouch, there words are as follows

Dear little book of secrets

Ok ok so im still working on what to write at the top, dear dairy doesnt seem to be the thing, But at the same time its a classic

Well the boxing day was as mad as i predicted, Not a chance i was writing in you that day. I managed a whooping shift of 17 hours. Now thats impressive...

what is less impressive is about ten hours in a sprained my ankle or something, I tripped and fell wrong or something and it was sore. Today however it was worse. Far worse, They actualy sent me home. Me who has worked through illness. vomiting, and such they sent home. Yet i feel almost patheticaly gratefull. A blessing to a peer or the secret telling off of a child for not looking after yourself better.

Ill let you decide diary.

Im not sure what else to write about. the weather is fine, not to cold and the likes but the news is not good. Weather in england is still snowy. horrible and snowy.
The british goverment tried to ban all pornographic content from the web but the internet providers said it couldnt be done. HAH serves them right. Sickness and illness in far off parts of the world. and problems in the other. A shame really.

At the same timeim pretty sure i should keep up with the news more. But its always so depressing.

But fahh. my stuipid pen is running out of ink. So with that, i think i shall leave it for this fine day.

Dear diary,
Thasts how you start these things right. You mark off dear diary and tell the smallleather bound one hundred precent organic book your feelings right. Am i supposed to write in this like a book, like some lost friend reading my words. Well for this ive decided to start as i tend to carry on. TAalking and rambling on and on.

As you can tell i got a diary for christmas today. Its nice, thick leather with pages inside bound together, a jewl or stone on the front that looks partly like an eye staring at me. Neat huh.

What else was there. A yorkee bar from england, nice, real chocolate, ill save that for a special occasion i think. Not for girls it even says, woo.

Some good books, a lot of peter F hamlton, so hard core sci fi. Woooo

A new wireless headset. Its neat, same style with the vice morphiong of the last one but no now massive trailiong wire.

of all the cool things i got some of the best might be the zombie calander i got, and the zombie survival calander. Its one of those flat things with a stack of paper on it that you tear off the day for the next :D so ill keep you posted on the results of them. Heh im sure i would do just fine in the event of zombies. My friends all know that if i ever call them or soemthing i mean it about zombies. or maybe send them a desperet email. Heck ricky Askew is a friend. My oldest to be exact, and if that man ever phones me and says that its happening. Ill prepair.

Well no past last week, it was amazingly busy at work and i had little strength left after many hour days.

So lego universe. Tried it and its surprisingly rather fun. Very basic, but at the same time there is a lot of customization. You can build your own house, home, castle or evil lair. In fact anything you want. It can be open to the public or private. But its not part of the game. Its like its own stand alone thing so meh. The development blog had such high hopes. Being able to build spaceships, cars, trucks, ect. could have been amazing, But instead they have gone for a modular design with core pieces that you assemble. So its kinda a shame there. Gameplay is rather fun though i have to say.

Well lets have a lookie see what to say.

watched mega mind. A funny film, i enjoyed it immensely, it was both funny and at the same time had a wonderful humor and theme that even as an adult was thoroughly enjoyable. Its a definite recommended film.

The legs, dam them and yay at the same time. They made such progress and now i hit a block, like a writers block but builders, and i wouldn't say builders block as im sure thats a copyrighted toy or something. Its just a pain, might upload photos of them or something, just Gahhh at the momenta bout them........

Games, still definitively recommending Enslaved, journey to the west. played it, enjoyed it. Thought the voice acting was good, the animation was nice, give it a try and just play it, dont analyze it.

hehe its not really a mega post, But im trying once agian to post more often, not sure why really. At worst i just ramble in them, at best i talk. Maybe i should start doing blogs in poem or lyricism style, who knows. Any how, ta ta for now, and byeeee england [ and parts of canada now'

Alright lets take a lookie see. The art for the costume is coming along slowly. things such as they are, and artists being artists take there time so thats all well and good.

just watched it... not sure how i feel about it. I liked it i think. Or at least,, i think i liked it. Watching it was nice, the small people simply trying to survuve was good. But to me it felt like it needed something more. Something else, maybe more time. Maybe a more diffiniteve ending. Who knows. All i know is it wasnt bad i think.

finaly picked up halo reach. But this means getting Xbox live. Promised ricky i wouldnt play it or the new gears of war without him And dammit a promise is a promise. So we shall see soon enough....

didnt have the ork game this week, it was rememberence day and i spent it working on the garage with my dad. pretty good time to be honest. We worked well together, the room is insulated and all tidy, just have to put up the drywall on it now. so yay proud

Alright alright, so i dont update as often as rob does. I just get side trakced by the SSDD stuff, meaning that most of the time its boring bloggy stuff.

so where to start, step one, as i often ramble about wanting to build things and make extravagant costumes that mostly tend to simply be wild dreams. I started last year by building the stilts. I was happy with them but the project took so long it ground itself into a halt. The legs were good,. but the six odd months it took to make them was to long.....

So there i am reading robs blog, hearing of wild larps in the 40k universe and darn it, i want.... so what do i do, i pull out the legs, stare at them and the fun times begin.... Thus the MKII digileg stilts are made no photos yet. But the process can be explained. WARNING it contains pain and exhaustion.

So i bought some PVC piping, had some fun cutting it up and then heating it to 270 degrees until it softened then spent a few hours holding BURNING plastic to my legs to get the shape i wanted out of it... all good :D had some help and a wet towel to cool off....

stage two,., making them... so there i am in the garage at about eight at night, cutting drilling and experimenting with a friend called christoph. the right leg takes us about seven hours to do as we measure, cut ponder and smack our heads into the floor. the left dam leg takes an hour and a half. and that includes cleaning up the place. Yes thats right, i finished it at about 4 am >< BLARG...... but still they look good, move much more fluidly than the first set, they dont have the massive bar at the end and the shoddy orange cable :D some more work to do next week and then wham. I build another set for my arms...... then the actual costume. I dont know what its going to look like... i might make a skitari or something for the 40k thing rob does and see if they want an NPC if it looks cool and tech priesty enough

So thats the thing im blogging about today, the urge to actually finish a project has come to my mind. heck if anyone has any suggestions. Im currently pondering a quadsuit idea with stilts everywhere. So any suggestions or even ideas, send them in by all means. Ive got people pondering over here :D

Well its the morning after.

My shoulders hurt a little still. im in a great mood and such, as last night i helpled gt ready for another feast. however this time ive got some armor to wear of course :D So YAY. firstly in answer to johns comment it was just generic tartan. but i still had lots of fun. Today there will be a castle and food and all sorts of stuff of course. After i get the next set of photos ill update again.

Had a lot of fun fighting last night. got to swing wild swords at people an such, And getting hit lots to ><. The only problem was i need to find a gorget that covers up m,y Adams apple, that i can wear with the pauldrons and still turn my head :p... still photos :D today im making a stew while i think about it. going to be good and contribute to the feast. But still on the 25th wish me luck, ill be attentding vinfest. fighting, relaxing, fighting, eating, and fighting :p

well i was stalling ill admit, waiting for photos of my last venture. I last went out for a medieval feast. It was tasty food, fun and archery. I didn't partake the archery myself. I was to busy being attacked by small children. >< DARN THEM. But none the less. i had fun. It was the highland games. So there were silly games. Caber tossing and the like. All sorts of stuff done with Giant cardboard tubes, long socks weighted with oats. Didn't win anything but i got a fair few second places. In a side note, I did win the competition for turning up in the most authentic costume. Had a roll of material and i managed to make a great kilt with the help of my family [ its a three person job]. Lets see, got the ratan for making weapons and such, Gonna make a halberd i think, Nice, stabbing and hacking thing. Thats christophers update for now, so its nice.

Well i was hoping to have photos of the feast i attended the other day. It was tasty, delicous and best yet, had swords and Scottish games. I won the prize for turning up in the most authentic Scottish attire. It was fantastic. I was given a massive length of cloth and told to wear it over the shoulder. BUT it was JUST enough to make a great kilt out of. Had to get the family to help me put it on. But it was worth it to win something like that for my first attendance. But pictures will be on the way.

What with me joining the whole SCA thing im recruiting people to try and establish a force. Im hoping for a twenty man squad that we can train up together and work as a team on the battlefield with. So wish me luck

In game news i just watched zero punctuation. Transformers war for cybertron. I warn people i personaly thought it was a simple, fun playable game. the multi player was good fun and the thing was nice to look at to :D so bahhh .

well it was good this weekend. I went out to dawson to work on the stilts for a costume. I had alaskan king crab legs and steak. And the car broke down. YAY
So lets see, replayed stalker the other day, sighing happily in memory, the enemys that can see for miles and shot with such ease at extream range.

But fahh, STILTS, weeeee, they work, i can walk in them, just need to practive now. Get some buckles on them, and then i build the costume around everything : D

well i was off work for a while, feeling pretty Ill. ended up spending quite a bit of time either playing computer games or laying on the floor in the bathroom to be near to loo or just cool down. ><.

but at the same time it gave me a little while, so ive played two new games... well one new one old.

firstly we ave portal. I know it has been out for a while. but i never got around to playing It. I can instantly see why rob liked it so much, the turrets are cute. the game is amazing. and killing the AI at the end giggle worthy. [ I liked the yellow orb best, it sits there and acts all cute before you burn it. Unlike the red one that wiggles and growls lots[ I was only disapointed by how very very short it was. >< DARN YOU VAVLE, when is the rest of half life coming out,,,,,

Second game on the list. Call of duty modern warfare 2
A surpisngly good game really. the singer player was actualy amazing. Several times i stared at the screen in dibelife. amazed as they burned me. And it doesnt follow a single amazin super hero that wins the war, but several people, major and minior was was a really nice change :D

thats about it right now. sitting back watching the 1988 and 1958 versons of THE BLOB :D

Повреждение обозначено или кровавой аурой вокруг вашего видения ИЛИ взламыванием вашего противогаза. Поверхность конечно является настолько ядовитой, что Вы должны носить это часто. И наблюдают ваши наручные часы, как долго фильтры длятся, Чтобы Вы не задыхаетесь. В целом я сказал бы, Дают метро 2033 попытка, на всех главных форматах.

Well this fine day im bringing you people news. Ive played a game called metro 2033. its a dark FPS set in a post apocalyptic times after a great war. Yes i know another one. But this one is set in Russia. Its fantastic. The game itself is very in depth and tells its own happy little story. there are mutants of course, and The dark ones. Scary figures that lurk in the shadows. Featuring a variety of guns to enamor even the most gun happy of people. the game uses no real HUD for the most part. Damage is indicated by either a bloody aura around your vision OR a cracking of your gas mask. The surface of course is so poisonous that you have to wear it often. And watch your wrist watch for how long the filters last Lest you suffocate. All in all i would say Give metro 2033 a try, its on all major formats.

well its been a bit since i wiffled in here. But fahh. Ive been really really busy. I havent been playing computer games, nor modling. Heck everything took a break while i prepared the store i work at for a total chaos nerf war.
Now nerf guns for those that dont know are the foam dart shooting to guns. Sounds silly, but thirty people showed up and it was great. I mean really great.
Ill have some photos of the event it self soon enough, sadly missed some great photo shots. But ahh wel. Now i can return to pestering you people, and postying my mindless trivia in the bloggy thing of doom [wee doom blog[.

we played capture the flag of course, a game called jail break, A defensive one. Sadly didnt have time for the zombie game :p

So yes its been a while, but then life has just kinda ticked by. Had an interesting time last tuesday. Went out at five AM to edmonton, its a five hour drive away so we get there at about lunch, play in the water park, go do laser tag, have some drinks ect. GREAT DAY. And then we go to the cinime, Were off to see Avatar in I-Max 3d, the worlds most powerfull projector, with the best sound system anywhere, Its so amazing they have a LAZER show at the start and tell you all sorts of neat things about it O.o it was amazing[ but sadly the showing we wanted to see ran out of 3d glasses SOOOOO we waisted three hours until the next showing, wich was at ten ><. watched avatar, and of course with that clear a screen, it was mind blowing. got out at about one thirty, and then chris drove for five hours, trying desperetly to stay away and not kill everyone.... we made it back some how O.o. so all good

So lets see, step one no pig still wich is a shame. The lack of a cybernetic pork based warrior has driven me to such madness. Ive started rock climbing, me the poor canadian that cant stand going to the top of a ladder. And yes, with sheer piggy based determination i made it to the very top of the thing a couple of times. Admittedly i was swearing a lot, screaming as i plumteted saftly to the cround and cursing grafity for always winning, but still. Off to see shutter island soon so cant wait for that.

Aside from that im organising a nerf war for work, should be cool. All the large shop isles and desks, lots of nerf guns. some people love it, some people are taking it a little far, planning on quad linking the nerf gunds and such :D

how time flys. One minute im playing computer games, the next i notice that its been two weeks before i post on here. Not that much happens in every day life.

Though ive recently tried star trek. And im honestly suprised to say its fun. You start off hating the controls wondering whats going on after a very lacking tutorial. Flug out into the furthest reaches of space, replying on the local chat for guidence. Wich is terribly flooded with money sellers already ><. Only to blink a day later realising you havent move, eated or peed in something thats not a bottle for the day.
The game pulls you in until your sat there screaming at your ship to turn faster as you try and balance your sheilds out, sending power to them whilst desperetly mashing the attack buttons at teh same time. And its good solid whack a mole fun really :D

Sadly it sounds like its going to be micro funded. So you will have to buy char slots from the vendor and such >< but ahhh well.

as a last note sadly it seems there is no cyber pig yet

Well another week spent in the world of canada. Im doing rather well over here at the moment. Earning a good wage, playing 40k lots, so seems life is ok. Though im still holding out hopes of seeing that pig int he actual comic rob... Wonder if i could start a petition :D

Gonna take my flying lessons once the weather clears up, as it snowed again. A mere four to six inches i think so its good.

Still no pics of the demon prince. I want to get him just right before showing you people.

So lets see, what to say what to say...

Watched book of eli. A rather good film. Had a rather religious theme, BUT it was still dan good without throwing christianity into your face and down your throat. It had some shameless plugs where the lead char would put in some headphones and start walking. Only moments later to turn so that you could perfectly see the symbol on the headphone :p ......

avatar will be in cinemas until march over here o.o WOW .... good huh. The avatar computer game is actualy rather good. and i mean that, in a scary way O.o its actualy fun [gasps] Its not the most lovingly created game, nor the prettest but still its adictive :p

finaly got a demon prince of nurgle model [ hard to get over here without a GW[ im staring at it for insperation wondering how to convert it... #

My poor laptop broke >< Cat lept onto it and it went tumbling down,... screen is busted. but it still works. so ill hook it up to a moniter for now till i replace it ..

Well its been the season. Which of course means ive been worked like a dieing monkey so they can get one more show in. This is actually the first time ive been at my computer in a while [Yes im not sure who i really am anymore ]

Christmas was wonderful. I got a wonderful assortment of gifts including as ive said, Flying lessons. So soon ill be flying high, aiming down my sights and releasing those bombs on someone, Not sure who yet but still thats not the point.

Ive had a wonderful time playing with plasticard. staring at chaos raptors and deciding i don't like them im making my own, and its turning out great. Photos will follow, just the cameras taking a vacation from Christmas.
In other news we had freezing fog the other day,,, nothing as scary as driving into fog and watching ice form on everything visibly, windows, roads, any surface just freezing :D Good ol Canada.

For now a happy new year to everyone ,,,, i ve been so overwhelmed i quite forgot all the eat stuff i was supposed to tell people, so until next time

yes its Christmas time again, that wonderfull time when people send lots of money buying gifts for the ones they love and all that. And that of course means im rather busy at work. But its all good...

things in my life
im playing a new 40k campaign, and im doing rather well. The start of a 500 point leader squad battle saw me come second in kills, first in objectives taken, last in losses [ with one man lost] and gaining 8free plague marines in the next game

I have a shiny new keyboard [ pictures to follow] it glows, red pink and blue. and is super cool...

erm.not to much more to say, well there probably is,, and this update is horribly late, but ish sleepy, and its been crazy at work so nah nah,,, but its almost christmas :D im hoping to give everyone Christmas cheer, but just in case

Dum dum dum. So far so good, im managing my weekly updates
So the new news. Its my fathers birthday on monday, So he is off with my mother to edmonton. and that means that I have no car. And that means of cvourse that i might have to walk to work in -25 temps O.o YAY... so i picked up some winter boots...

Im not to sure where my phone is at the moment, wich sucks as i was supposed to play a game this weekend ... So we shall have to see..

Sad to say im back on eve online.. curse that game. i feel both happy and sad for the time i was away.. If i hadnt left i would be flying a GREAT ship by now,,, but i suppose id be even poorer..

Erm.. and last but by no means least. Some of you that rear this are artistic, some of you are not, But im sending out a request of two parts

did i mention at last, It finaly happened. Yes i won a game of 40k. Me VS ian. Nurgle Vs inquisition. 2000 points. on a capture the hill mission. So there was one objective on a hill. And i won. It was close though, last turn he almost contested the objective, so no one would have one. A couple of times i was almost sweating with worry when he attacked my men or rushed something i didnt expect.

some things i lerned.
1 i might want some more fast attack and rinos to back them up
2 vindicators are scary, not to good a range, but when they hit,, WHAM
3 ... i... dare i say it,, i might break the nurgle rule of 7 o.o

The bad
Curses, my hard drive packed up several weeks ago on my PC. After a day of testing and poking, found out that the hard drive was under warranty [ YAY as its a rather nice one]... So sent off for that, and my father kindly got me a larger but slower drive to do until it turned up. I used it, and have been playing borderlands [ a fantastic game].. anyhow, I got the new drive in yesterday.... i spent half a day trying to get it to work, my dad several hours,,, and dont you know, is faulty already,,, error 0223 on the hard drive check,, GAHHHHH so gonna phone them and scream

And the good
Weee, did my second day of work today, yesterday was training,, today well i was left alone, got a job woth best buy, as i know the way it works :D YAY for masterplan Class one licence

well its been a busy week, mostly for job hunting though. Thanks for the replies in the last blog. I was worried that the white would just look like a primer and that i hadnt bothered to do anything else. But yay support.

Got a few interviews done. So wish me luck ill get a job at long last.
Still need supplies for the armor project so until i get money, its on hiatus..... And fine fine, ill finish up grimdakka and post him to :D then i just need a grot and wham, falmie will be in there to. Not much else to say this week sadly, shame really,,

Oh, went to RP on Monday, the gm made everything turn based,,, you walk into a room, the person with the highest initiative goes first.... ect,,, was pretty bad. but we all talked, and i said my oppinion, and we will be trying it more free style... Also my paladin had to refuse to heal people,,, we killed some kobolds. and everyone rolled initiative to search them. O.o ... it took one round... im imagining three people, leaping on body's and frantically searching them before sitting up and sighing in relief :p..

As a final thing, Finaly got the PC working and finaly got borderlands playing with ricky, I would have to say its an excelent game :D though im sure the game is mocking us and dropping rubbish guns

sorry its been so long guys, I kinda lost track, but im gonna shift tactics, this will become a weekly blog, much like robs. So, this week there isnt to much. Alec and ricky were phoned by people asking for references so YAY i might have a job soon.

i ent to a rp sesion on monday, it was fantastic, There was party interaction, one fight and gerneraly it was rather good fun. :D

The leviathan project will start as soon as we get the plasticard so yay for that, your right john, but in his defence it can probably be feilded by marines if they want one, so i dont mind to much. Its gonna help me for my next super project, Once it gets to cold over here that i cant use resin. the armor project stops [even though its paused to du e a lack of materials at the moment] So during the winter hours, Im gonna do it,, Yes i present to you my next hair brained scheme...... *fanfair*

a 40k scale Nurgle warlord titan. Yep, 34 and a half inches of decaying, rusted hulk. Ive done the life size design templates :D but gotta take my time on it, I want to add damage, internal levels, weathering, ect :D so its gonna be a crazy project :p ... thats all for now, catcha soon

So, step one in this post, YAY i have a job interveiw.. it will be nice to get a job and earn the money i need for my trucking licence :D

That outa the way onto the important stuff.....

Ive been asked to help soneone over here with a 40k project :D after seeing Zogg they invited me to help there latest build. So ill be helping design, and build a 40k scale leviathan. its the large giant cannon weilding troop carryer.. its got to look like it fits 100 marienes, and will be covereds with bolters and lascannons :D were going to use two baneblades for the tracks wich is great. That means i get to keep the middle parts, so the chassy and the guns :D Wich im turning into nurgle terrain [ more on that in later bloggs]

In more news, the torso armor is at 60-70% done for the prep work, So just the card and glue really, and eck and grimdakka are almost there as well. But sadly ive been slightly distracted by the new Borderlands game. Its out on the 30th in england, and ideffenetly recomend it. Many gun stats, god graphics, nice game play,,, And its up to 4 player co-op. I know a couple of people getting it, If anyone else does, give me a nudge and well boogy on down in the wastes :D

well lets see, what to say, what to say. Step one, I had a chilli cheesde dog yesterday, Rather tasty in a horrible Its taking years off my life every bite kinda way.

The torso peice of armor is kinda early almost done its preperation.. honest ....... Its really hard this time. there are lots of fiddly bits and difficult foldy bits ... And i Really really dont wanna have to make a second like i did the helmet >< ....

And of course ontyo our resident orks... Eck is in the painting stage at last, Hoping it turns out well, nice modle. I nade the coat, the wrenches and the pouches by hand .. oh and his mask.. But its such a flat model im worried about it being plain >< ... Grimdakka on the other hand is based, and almost done painting,, but ive stalled.. In order to put him on a base and have him stand up, I had to put him on a bigger base... But i dont want it to look empty >< so im kinda staring at it for insperation >< .... ahh well photos and silkie ties for all

so, not many posts for the little while. Important one is my poor sister had to go into hospital. she had stomach cramps and pain,, and then she had her appendix out :(... Still she should be fine, she is back at home now so yay..
gonna be nice to her and help her out how i can.

Just got back from my first proper RP session in Canada, its a monster only game, and i didnt have time so i used my troglodyte cleric. which was a great hit, lots of fun. though i have an urge to kill most of the npcs.... Rar..

out of superglue at the moment so i cant work on the armor, But ive read the first halo book. Its actually rather good for a book about a game, Im pleasantly surprised :D .. and thats about it for the moment,,

Well to start with, though its a day late. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RHI RHI
she turns a fine 21 this year. Ahh good memorys, First there was the tiny fairy Rhianybug... then the times she killed mike, and the other time. Oh oh, and the time she turned into the incredible hulk when mike broke the toilet,, or the stairs, cant remember rightly, but ahh well.

In other news Yesterday I worked with my dad. For the whole day *que dramatic music* Installed two windsheilds in trucks, one in an ambulance, and we went to a ice skating rink looking for a display case we both worked on earlyer in the week.. BUT THEY MOVED IT >< we walked around the whole place three times, before finding it :D and its not done yet.....

picked up some paints,,, some greys and stuff... there all awefull >< So screw it, im going with GW paints and sticking to them, i know the colours, i know how they work. With luck, the helm will be done by Sunday, ill update photos, and bask in the comments *glee*

well lets see, ive been gone for a while, went of to edmonton, was kinda cool, got some cool pictures to show you guys just how big the mall is there. went to the chinatown part of the mall. Dad has been there before, he bought some baby octopus to nibble on, gross. ive also got images of the pirate ship inside the mall, and photos and a vidio of the dragon in the cinima at last :D

the official reason i went up ther was to pick up my stuff, wich goes back to the story about me getting my sin number and having an investigation becuse they DIDNT BELIVE HOW LONG I WAS OUT OF CANADA..... then when i went to customes to get my stuff signed through, we were stuck there for an hour as I COULDNT PROVE I HAD BEEN OUT OF CANADA LONG ENOUGH >< DAM THEM ..... lucky for me i had my manager from sainsburys write me a letter saying how nice i was ect ect, on it the letter said id worked for them for 18months :D SO YAY... got my stuff

no where to put it all, but i have it :)

Well first off lets start with A rather late HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEC. sorry about my silence, its been rather hectic here.

Im legaly called FRENCH now, woo, wich means i got an aplication for my socian insurrance number. But of course it wasnt that simple. I told them that i had been out of the county for a while. but they wernt sure, so i went in and had an invesitation with the iac or something,,, its like the fbi i think, or the cia, its hard to remember after the gruiling questioning.

and finaly, Fahhh the new helmet it symetrical already so fahh to you and wombles rob.. *sob* he always picks on me and my things.. Rob is why i cant have nice things :)

Well, as i said a little while ago, i made the helmet in an odd way, in fact a wrong way. Ive stared at it, tried to work at it, and im setting it to the side. Me and the MK1 had a lot of fun, we tried, but things didnt work out.... So at 9am tommorow ill be re-starting.

Lets take a moment, give it some silence out of resepct,,,, the next version will be better... in fact my father is helping kinda. he is gonna look into the visor for me,,, flexi plastic of some kind tinted. Cool huh, Well here are the finaly images.

step one in reply to rob, yes the cake was delicious, though i finished it today,, so much cake,, in reply to ricky, yes its hopefullky going to like like one of the helmets from halo 3...

in other news, i went to the walk in hospital thing where my mum works to have my eye looked at. While working with my dad i got some stuff in my eye, and its resulted in a lot of discomfort... they made my eye ultraviolet, and then flipped my eyelid open,, EWWWW, it felt funny, but they wouldnt take a photo for me >< so sorry no pic.

In other news, the helmet may have been built wrong,, The advice on the forums im following said to fiberglass the outside of your stuff,,, but later says the inside, and by that point its the experienced people saying it,,, DOH

and last, a picture of my dog loving my dads nose :D

double whopper with resin and cake

Ok, so, where to start....

Step one, I made a wonder full guinnis cake, its rather good, moist, fresh, lots of topping, and everyone adores it [ Thank you Rhi rhi for ever showing me this cake. if you have any suggestion, i cook all the time over here so id love to get feedback]

Step two. Yesterday evening, I went off roading. It was crazy, everyone else was rather disappointed as there was no mud. but dam it was cool and scary. In a 4 cylinder 4x4, we went up, down, slightly to the side, at crazy angles. Sometimes when going over a ridge and down a slop, the angle curved so much, you couldnt see the road, only the floor in the distance. DAM that was cool, Im gonna rent a quad for next time though, actually drive with them. Sadly my phone didnt manage great pictures in a bouncing 4x4 going along a dirt trail in the middle of no where.

AND FINALLY
last step, i got a lil high today in the garage, I started playing with resin and hardeners and stuff, coated up the helmet. So woo when it dries i can do the inside, and fiberglass it,,, then bondo it,, then sand, smooth, paint, and add a visor, :D

Oh how i suffer, ive spent the morning working with my dad, helping him fit glass into a pickup truck. It was actualy rather fun really, Stripped off the old glass, preped and cleaned the new windsheild... aplied the suff,,, and then wham, stuck it on :D and i did a good job...
Then we did the next job,,, replace a small plastic window in a trailer.. Man was this one tough. All the wood in the frame was rotten, totaly, so we did what we could, and applied a LOT of sylicon to it to get it to stay in some kinda shape :D It took a mere three and a half hours to do that one,, phew a lot of work.
[ and sorry about the quality of the image, im working off a low pixel phone there]

in preperation for the next part, i stoped off at home base and picked up some supplies,,,,, fiberglass matting, fiberglass resin, body filler, glue, hardener, sandpaper in grades 80, 200, 400, 600... saftey glasses, resperator. and some other stuff ...... tommorow,, wahaha

So, im stuck in the house, playing around. my dad had a go at steel battalion and heck, he might even play it again....gasp.. but its all good, he is rather impressed though at the same point, diapointed that the controler is only for one game. I can understand, after all its all about inputs and outputs,, so why cant it work for others.. hmmm....

Well in a fit of boredom, i went with my sister to beaverlodge... there is a motel there, an A&W [ its a burger joint built up around its great rootbeer]....... and a 15ft tall beaver statue. pretty cool i guess, in a giant beavery way. its well built, but there are some badly matched seams in it.

Still working away on armor now,,, and ive actualy started it so yay
no photos yet, but ahh well, maybe later,,, :D

and john, im rather glad i bought it,,, remembered just how much fun it is.

Well here i am, Still in Canada. Still not doing much, AND I MEAN THAT.

so, lets see, with such a thrilling life i thought that i would post weekly now or something, unless something amazing happens...

Master update, I picked up a copy of STEEL BATTALION. thats the old Xbox game, with that massive controler. pretty good for £60 i figured. gonna play at that to aleviate the boredom.

Aside from that, having gotten really bored i walked into town. to reach staples it only took me about an hour. So that was rather good i guess. Ive gotten some card, some foamboard, superglue and a glue gun.. YES THATS RIGHT, IM FINALY MAKING ARMOUR...
its been what, three years with me saying i wanna make something, Well i fianly have gotten off my ass, and started something,.. once it gets underway ill post images. let you know the grand outcome..

I watched nine yesterday as well. im not sure what to say, it was a good film, very well done. BUT, despite how nice it was to watch. if felt so very short. I mean it, It was over in moments im sure.... But the half an hour wait before that was fun,, Started a popcorn war with a friend hehe.

update huh, that sounds good. Lets start off with yesterday. It was a good day, it was a fine day. It was a very very drink day...
Me and my father went out to meet up with one of my fathers co-workers and his father, sounds good, well it was. But at the same time, there was alchoaul, in fact there was a lot of it. 10 vodka redbulls, half a guines, 1 shot of goldslagur, two melon lequres, one very odd drink [ that was on the house] that was two hots of something, nand lime juice, and a ceaser later.... well i was drunk, and so was my dad [ who only drank guines]

We were very drunk, wrestling on the way home. struggling to get dad up the stairs once we were there and many other things that i cant say for fear of offending him. All in all a good day. Though after the guiness my tummy was sensitive so i didnt sleep well, and when i got to sleep i dreamt of making guiniss cake all night......darn.

I have just come in from watching inglorious bastards....... and once more dam you quinten tarenteno.. it wasnt to bad in some parts,,, but for the most of it, i was honestly considering the 24km walk home. Just lock him up now for crimes against films...

as an added update, Just making sure people know, Im stuck in the house, the reason roughly like this, I had my name changed by a lawyer in england at the age of about 13, BUT it doesnt count in canada, in canada im still legaly Christopher routledge.... to get a social insurrance number to french i have to change my name legaly over here

crime craft

Well, in an attempt to relive my boredom ive started to play crime craft. working my way through it slowly it seems ok, But its so new that there working on it. there sales pitch is that they want everyone to be unique, and with five whole sets of clothing i can see them managing that. seems ok, but at the same time, its rather limited. Ill see how it goes so far.

Yesterday i had a dream, it involved space pirates. On massive pirate ships [ yes the wooden ones] But with engines built into them. some one stole my ship and i had to get it back, whilst tracking them down to a luxury liner

Today i started out as myself, but i was in this strange land, and there were two people at war. humans and from what i could tell, slightly taller humans. but the Not humans used a technology that was all Crystal and all there metal had a tint of purple... But while exploring i ended up talking down some of the not humans from stealing an old satellite from a museum. and starting peace between the two,,, and with how well i did that, they made me captain of the first Dual species space ship...... and it went on, YAY

not sure what else to ramble on about really, Yep its another day,,, cant go anywhere, As even in the city, to walk to the cinema, its 25kms each way.... and i have no money of course so,, look forwards to another exciting post by me,,,,, containing random junk :D

well lets see, ive got Crime craft From steam. havent played it yet as the family Internet is rather slow, been downloading it for about nine hours so far. Ill tell you people what its like when i actually play...

been invited to go to ninjutsu. might end up doing it, get all kung foo ish to keep in shape, bwahaha,,,,, erm, what else, what else,,

Ahh for two and a half days after that camping trip i was walking like an old man, hobbling along like a cripple,, YAY,,,,

Ohh as an added note, Ive started watching Deadlyest warrior, its a neat slightly silly show that pits people or groups from all over time against each other,,, ninjas VS spartans, Taliban VS ira...... my favouret one so far :D

Well, OK, here is the update i guess. On fri morning i get offered by my sister to go out and celebrate the birthday of Cid, [ one of the fine people i played poker with[ sounds ok right, go out, have a few drinks, meet some more people YAY.

SO, we head out, and she heads into wall mart, and we pick up camping chairs.... CAMPING CHAIRS ?? Ok, so it turns out that its a celebration out side, with a fire. cool eh, well i grab some root beer, and some drinks and we head out.....

TWO HOURS LATER
were on a dusty road. I mean dusty, like in the films. Your following not the car in front, but its dust trail, hoping its not turned suddenly when something passes you, we cant see 10 feet, but were driving along at 40/50 kph. .... ok not bad
So, we get there,,,, there is a pickup, there is a trike. there is a lot of gear " Its only a short trip Eh " they say to me

30 MIN LATER were walking through a forest, heading down a track thats at a 75 degree slope, with a single rope to help you get down. Giving up on the gear, i throw it the 40 feet to the floor, ,screw the chairs they will make it. And slide like a crazy person down this thing [im fine im afraid]....

another ten more minutes of extreme hiking and were there, in a canyon, next to a waterfall.. its amazing. stripping to undies we jump in off the cliff edge, which is a mere two three storeys tall... land in the freezing black water and do it all again....

that was my "birthday party " for this guy,,, im back in now, walking like an old man, crippled years ago. i lost a sock, scratches, cuts and mosquito bites everywhere. but it was amazing,,,, photos will follow [ once i edit my ass out of them] But wow,,,, just wow,, sore, pained and tired, it was still worth it

burrito time

burrito is the topic today, and that would be because I went to mucho burrito. its like the gourmet burger of the burrito world, they do tacos, enchiladas, taco salads and the likes. now, me and my family went there, wanted to try it out compared to taco bell or taco time. Took a while to get served as it had the same kind of serving system as subway. But eventually we got there. I had a medium mucho burrito, with beef, cheese, beans, peppers, rice, sour cream, ect ect... the medium was almost half a foot long, and wider than my fist. the large that I saw was double that, it was massive. bravo to the man that finished that..

this place though, I honestly prefer taco time

I got a photo from the terrifying Scottish bear, its a bear that speaks in a Scottish accent and says the most disturbing things whilst rubbing itself suggestively... now you might think im being crazy, but im not, and to prove it here are the images it sent me. nine, The new tim Burton film comes out soon, funnily enough on the ninth of the ninth ... not much of an update really, but still ahh well, Canada, its cold..

went out, got a lawyer to sign some paperwork, and it turns out i didn't need to, i got my driving license, turns out i shouldn't have been able to [ Yes i sweet talked the lady into giving it to me with no Prof of residency]

erm, not sure what else to say...

REALLY WANNA model, as in build them not pose for photos. I have a fantastic idea to build the ORK gang that me and some friends played back in England. Heck ill upload images as i go [once my tools turn up] Its gonna be a surprisingly difficult build really, What with the models proportions and so fourth. but i look forwards to it.

Once it comes out, watch it. without spoilers Its about an alien spaceship that settles over a city on earth. months pace and humans cut it open only to find sick aliens inside. they take them in, and all sorts of stupid things that might actually happen in real life go on. IE people trying to give them citizenship, rights, ect :D cool ship, Awesome power armor, and well done. Lots of POV shots and moving cameras in a cloverfeild style

Well its been what, three four days, something like that and ive been to the police station twice, had my finger prints taken. and been to a court house..... NOT BAD EH!

its rather complecated as legaly my last name is actualy routledge [ yes laugh now] thanks to the english system canada doesnt accept that, but im doing the best i can.

WEEE i has a phone now, sounds easy right,,, WELL WRONG,,, "in canada phone uses you". Or at least it may as well do, in canada you pay to text people, to receive texts, to check yor voice mail. to call out of state, AND THE BEST.... Yes you have to pay to call 911. Wich of course makes me wonder, If i had a pay as you go phone, and was out of credit, would they offer to let me pay by card.....
